Local organizations include: Banklick Watershed Council, Kenton Conservancy, Kenton County Parks and Recreation, NKY Chapter Sierra Club, Licking River Watershed Watch, City of Independence, NKY Urban & Community Forestry Council, and Kenton County Cooperative Extension Service.
